So I am awake now and as part of Tefilla I read Akeidas Yitzchak. As I am half reading and half listening to the kids, a thought entered my mind.
*What does Hashem feel like when we run away from Him?
Lets try to picture this. He is the father, of all of us. He cares about each and every one of us. He is always on call, always on duty. He does not stop being our caregiver.
So how does He feel when we turn away from Him? When we ignore His calls?
I think he would be happier if we screamed at Him becuase then we are acknowledging Him.
Akeidas Yitzchak demonstrated Avraham's complete and total dedication to fulfilling the word of Hashem. He awakes early and goes to Har Hamoria to sacrifice his son. He has zreezut. He runs to do mitzvot.
Why is this chapter in our daily Tefilla?
To remind us each and every morning why we are here, and what our attitude should be each and every day.
We should be zoiche to internalize the message of our Tati Avraham and with that be zoiche to see the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu, Bimheyra Beyameinu!!

Yom Tov!!!
Amen! Our rabbi, HaRav Matanya, always RUNS up to the bima when he is given an aliyah to the Torah. Abba often mentions what a great role model is this rav for zrizut in matters of kedusha.
